At Naas CU we believe in Community. We work hard to be a part of the communities that we operate in, and support the organisations that give back to the people living in our communities. Every year we give away tens of thousands of euros in supporting various organisations from Tidy Towns to youth sports teams. But, this year we want to do more. So we have pledged to give back to our community in other ways – with our time, our support, and in any other way we can. We’re calling this #GivingTuesday and we hope that you follow our journey.
To kick off our #GivingTuesday campaign, we had the absolute pleasure of joining Down Syndrome Kildare on a day trip to Lullymore Park in Rathangan. A group of amazing women from Kildare run a summer camp for children with Down Syndrome every year, and the trip to Lullymore was the finale of the camp for this year. We had a fabulous day, with a great bunch of kids, who taught us a few things about kindness and just having fun. So thank you for allowing us to tag along!
You can check out some highlights from our day in the video below.
